We Put Our Milk Money Where Our Mouth Is
Like you, we think the choices we make should reflect what matters most to us. Our annual Impact Report shows exactly how we’re putting those values into action, with real, measurable results. We think this is another reason you can look at our products as food you can feel good about.

Supporting People
When family farms thrive, so do their communities. In a time when family farms are being squeezed out of our country’s food system, we’re doing the opposite. Since 2023, we’ve brought over 200 organic family farms into our cooperative, proving that our cooperative business allows for fair farmer pay, a commitment to working together, and a values-driven food system. Every farm that thrives as part of our cooperative keeps land in production, dollars in rural economies, and good food flowing to families across the country.

Protecting the Planet
Our dedication to farming in harmony with nature and combating the climate crisis is stronger than ever. Collectively, on average, our dairy farms produce 24% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than conventional farms, making Organic Valley America's Low Carbon Dairy. Also, by farming organically we estimate that our farms have collectively kept over 540 million pounds of agrichemicals off the land since our founding in 1988.

Caring for Animals
Our farmers often say they feel a responsibility to give back to the animals that provide the milk and eggs that help nourish us. It’s more than sentiment. It’s a daily commitment. Guided by the standards of the USDA National Organic Program, including feeding only organic feed, and providing outdoor access to pasture and grazing during the grazing season, our farmers provide quality care for their animals, not shortcuts. Because we believe healthier, happier animals produce nutritious, wholesome, organic food for you and your family that you can feel good about.
