51 Small Organic Family Farms
Saved this Month!
Organic Valley is on a mission to save small organic family farms. So, when organic farms across the Northeast were on the brink of losing it all, we did everything we could to help them out. Today, we’re happy to report that 51 of these small family farms have joined the Organic Valley family! We’d like to give a heartfelt thanks to all those who purchase Organic Valley products–your support keeps these families farming for generations to come.

Meet some of the newest Organic Valley family farmers

The Rooney Farm in Vermont
"It is such a joy to see the milk truck driving down the road to our milkhouse. We work hard every day to care for this land and our animals, all organic, using no toxic pesticides or antibiotics.”

The Allen Family Farm in Vermont
Rory and Chris didn’t want to hang it up. “If Organic Valley wouldn’t pick us up there would be no milking cows here,” Rory said of his fifth-generation farm.

The Osgood Family Farm in Vermont
When Organic Valley approached, they knew they could keep the cows. “I like that Organic Valley is taking care of the little farms,” George said.

The Mehuren Farm in Maine
“It was a relief when Organic Valley came; there was a big question of what to do moving forward. Would we bottle our own milk, transition to beef or what the heck, go get a real job.”
Thank you for supporting small organic family farms!
