The secret is the ratio of creamy butter, olive oil, and water to make the butter soft, creamy, and spreadable.
Organic Valley® Butter with Olive Oil should be stored in the refrigerator away from aromatic foods, such as garlic or onions, because butter absorbs odors easily. For best results, do not freeze.
The tub/cup portion is No. 5 rigid plastic and is recyclable per local guidelines.
We recommend that your spread be consumed by or before the date listed on the package for the best taste and consistency.
We do not use coloring in our butter. Our butter naturally contains carotene, a result of the green pasture grasses that our cows eat. That is why Organic Valley® butter varies in color from season to season. In the summer, when the cows are fed primarily on pasture, the milk contains more carotene, causing the butter to be a brighter yellow. In winter, when the cows eat more stored, dried forages, the milk contains less carotene, resulting in lighter-colored butter.
