Organic Valley^® Oat Beverages are two new, delicious oat-based beverages that are available in Original and Creamy options. They are made with no gums or seed oils, and are nut free, non-dairy and lactose free – perfect for frothing, cereal, baking, smoothies and drinking!

All of the organic oats that are used in the new Oat Beverages are sourced from the farmer member-owners of Organic Valley and grown without the use of toxic pesticides or herbicides in the Heartland of the U.S. – a region with ideal, cool, dry conditions in which oats thrive.

At Organic Valley, we are proud to offer our Oat Beverages for consumers who are looking for organic, plant-based products. Being certified organic means that our organic oats are grown without the use of toxic pesticides or herbicides, in compliance with the standards of the USDA National Organic Program. We work directly with our cooperative’s own oat farmers so we can ensure the integrity and quality of the oats from field to fridge. And, with minimal ingredients and free from seed oils, and gums, this beverage offers a creamy mouthfeel that mimics traditional dairy milk.

The new oat beverages from Organic Valley provide consumers with different use cases and functionality. The new Oat Beverage Original is a great option for people looking for organic, plant-based products made from oats that are grown without the use of toxic pesticides or herbicides. The Oat Beverage Creamy offers customers froth-ability and can serve as an ingredient substitute in some cooking and baking scenarios.

Oats are naturally gluten free, and companies can decide if they want to state that on packaging. Our manufacturing partners hold strict standards and processing practices to avoid cross-contamination, but we are taking an extra cautious position and not stating gluten free on our oat beverage packaging.

As an organic dairy cooperative, we believe it is important to maintain consistency around our use of the term “milk” in alignment with the standard of identify for dairy “milk,” which means it comes from cows.

MCT oil is Medium-Chain Triglyceride oil. It’s a type of fatty acid. Ours is derived from organic coconut oil.
