Ingredients

  • 2 soft dinner rolls (about 2 inches in diameter each)
  • ¼ cup creamy tomato soup

Directions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. On a cutting board, slice 2 soft dinner rolls horizontally in half if they are not pre-sliced.
  3. On the bottom halves of the rolls, place 2 Organic Valley® American Slices, folding if needed to fit evenly. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese to form a sandwich. Using a spatula, press the rolls firmly to flatten, then generously brush both the top and bottom halves with melted butter.
  4. Place the sandwich in the skillet. Cover and cook until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip the sandwich and cook, covered, until the second side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted, for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Transfer the sandwich to a cutting board and slice it into 6 sticks for easy eating and dipping.
  7. Enjoy immediately with warm tomato soup for dipping, or transfer to a lunchbox with tomato soup in a small, spill-proof container.

Tips

  • Use a thermos or insulated container to keep soup warm for on-the-go eating.
