Eggnog French Toast

A festive twist on this French toast recipe accentuates the flavors of the holiday season with hints of vanilla and nutmeg. Best enjoyed with butter and warm maple syrup, or try topping with fresh whipped cream and sweet cranberry compote.

Ingredients
5 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
12 slices of bread
Directions
- Pre-heat a skillet or fry pan to medium heat.
- Mix together eggnog, eggs, honey and vanilla extract.
- Coat bread one slice at a time in eggnog mixture.
- Lay bread on greased skillet or fry pan and cook both sides until golden brown, typically 2 minutes per side.
