Grilled Cheese with Smoky Cheddar

Try this classic grilled cheese with a smoky kiss to bring something unique to the table. The Smoky Cheddar provides the right amount of smoke without overpowering or getting lost in the glorious cheddar cheese melt. Tomato soup never had it so good.

Try this classic grilled cheese with a smoky kiss to bring something unique to the table. The Smoky Cheddar provides the right amount of smoke without overpowering or getting lost in the glorious cheddar cheese melt. Tomato soup never had it so good.

Ingredients
8 slices sandwich bread
Directions
- Heat skillet over medium-low heat or set griddle to 300 F.
- Butter both sides of each slice of bread.
- Sandwich assembly: 1 slice of bread, 1 slice of smoky cheddar cheese, 1 slice of American cheese then 1 slice of smoky cheddar cheese, 1 slice of bread.
- In skillet (or on griddle), place sandwiches and heat for 3-5 minutes then flip and heat other side for 3-5 minutes or until bread is golden or cheese is melted. Tip: Be sure to check every 30 seconds to ensure no burning is occurring. If cheese hasn’t started to melt, cover after flipping.
- Remove from skillet, cut in half and enjoy!
