Guacamole Grilled Cheese
Who says grilled cheese is just for kids? Easily make this everyday sandwich gourmet by adding avocado and spreading Organic Valley Ghee on your bread. This flavorful combination of spices and vegetables makes a perfect plant-based meal.
2 slices of your favorite bread
2 oz Organic Valley Ghee
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp garlic
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp chipotle powder
1/4 tsp fresh cilantro
2 slices Organic Valley American Cheese Singles
2 slices of tomato
1/2 ripe avocado, sliced
In a small bowl, combine softened Organic Valley Ghee with cayenne pepper, garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, chipotle powder and cilantro.
Spread ghee mixture on one side of both slices of bread.
Put one slice of cheese on each un-buttered side of bread. Top one side with tomato slices, season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Top with avocado slices and repeat seasoning. Top with second slice of bread and cheese.
Carefully transfer sandwich to Panini press or grill pan and cook to desired crispiness. Once cooked to your liking, dig in and enjoy!
