Ingredients
1 loaf French bread (1 pound)
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon ground pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Cut bread into 1-inch-thick slices, leaving ½ inch at the bottom so the loaf stays connected. Place loaf on a large piece of aluminum foil.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, dried Italian herbs, salt and pepper.
- Brush each cut side of bread with butter mixture. Wrap tightly in foil and place on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake until bread is warmed through, about 15 minutes. Unwrap and serve immediately.
