Using a small heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut the Organic Valley® American Block cheese into 3-4 heart shapes. Save cheese scraps for snacking or another use.

Tips

  • Let cheese sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before cutting.

In the largest compartment of your bento box, arrange the mini pita rounds and place hummus in a small cup or corner for dipping.
In a medium compartment, arrange the heart-shaped cheese pieces alongside the grapes.
Place the Organic Valley® Stringles string cheese in another compartment, either whole or pre-peeled into strips for younger children.

Tips

  • Pre-peeling string cheese into fun spirals or braids adds extra appeal for kids who love interactive foods.

Fill remaining compartments with colorful vegetables.
Close bento box securely and pack with an ice pack to keep fresh until lunchtime.

Tips

  • Make multiple cheese hearts on Sunday and store in the refrigerator for quick weekday assembly.

    • To mix it up, swap the hummus and pita for kebabs on a stick with cheese cubes, turkey rollups and cherry tomatoes.
