Fresh cucumber rounds topped with creamy Organic Valley®Cream Cheese, silky smoked salmon and fragrant dill make a quick, elegant appetizer. Each bite is light yet satisfying, with a balance of cool crunch and rich flavor—perfect for family gatherings, celebrations or a nourishing snack.

Ingredients

2 large English cucumbers, sliced into ¼ -inch thick rounds 
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped 
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 
¼ teaspoon black pepper 
6 ounces smoked salmon, cut into small pieces 
Fresh dill sprigs (for garnish)

Directions

Pat cucumber slices dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped fresh dill, lemon juice and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
Using a small spoon or piping bag, dollop or pipe approximately 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber round. Top each bite with a small piece of smoked salmon and garnish with a fresh dill sprig.

  • For extra flavor, add a thin slice of red onion or a small caper to each bite.
