Ingredients
4 baby carrots
1 mini cucumber, approximately 3 inches, ends trimmed, sliced or cut in half
4 sugar snap peas
1 beef jerky stick, cut into thirds
1 tablespoon ranch dressing, in a small, lidded condiment cup
¼ cup pretzels (optional, in a container on the side)
Directions
- In a 16-ounce wide-mouth Mason jar, arrange the carrots in the bottom. Layer the cucumber, then the sugar snap peas. Place the beef jerky on top, then add the cheese sticks.
Tips
For same-day use, slice the cucumber. For meal prep, leave it halved horizontally to help retain freshness longer.
Snap peas create a barrier that helps keep wetter vegetables from affecting the jerky and cheese.
- Place a lidded condiment cup filled with ranch dressing on top. Seal the jar and refrigerate until ready to eat or pack with an ice pack.
Tips
Keep the ranch cup on top for easy access when opening.
Store and transport the jar upright to prevent moisture from reaching the cheese.
