This dry, crumbly cheese that originated in Northern Italy has graced dining tables for centuries. Our version is made with farm-fresh organic milk and without the use of animal rennet. Our cheesemakers follow traditional, time-tested methods to produce this fine Italian cheese, which is aged a minimum of 300 days (10 months). Pre-shredded and pasta-perfect, our aged organic Parmesan is ready to crown any culinary masterpiece!

Organic Valley has been working on a grated cheese formulation, but it is only in the development stage. I don't have any idea about other kinds of grated parm.
