Blender Buckwheat Waffles
Organic Valley Heavy Whipping Cream is the secret to getting perfectly lofty whipping cream. So sweet and buttery, our cream makes the perfect base for these waffles.
1 cup buckwheat flour
3/4 cup Organic Valley Whole Milk
2 Organic Valley Eggs
1 ripe banana
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cardamom
fresh fruit (optional)
1 pint Organic Valley Heavy Whipping Cream
1-2 tbsp maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
Add flour, milk, eggs, banana, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom in blender.
Blend ingredients for 60 seconds on high.
Cook in a well-greased waffle iron to desired level of doneness.
While waffles cook, whip together whipped cream ingredients (heavy whipping cream, maple syrup and vanilla bean paste) with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
Top your waffles with whipped cream, fresh fruit and a drizzle of maple syrup.
