Real-Deal Maple Ice Cream

The name says it all. This ice cream is the real deal. With 100% real maple syrup and pasture-pure dairy products, this indulgence is worth every bite. Just before it is done churning, add in some toasted hickory nuts or pecans to satisfy your salty-sweet tooth.

Ingredients
1 ½ cups Organic Valley Half & Half
1 ½ cups Organic Valley Whipping Cream
A glass bottle of maple syrup.
1 cup real maple syrup
A glass bottle of maple syrup.

Directions

Freeze, or prepare the inner canister of the ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s directions. Stir all ingredients until well combined. Chill the mixture thoroughly.
Follow the manufacturer’s directions to churn the chilled mixture in an electric ice cream maker—it will take 15 to 20 minutes to turn into ice cream. Enjoy it right away as soft-serve ice cream, or transfer it to an airtight container and place it in the freezer for 2 or more hours to harden.
