We love soup here at Organic Valley, and creamy fall soup recipes that use our delicious organic milk, cream, and cheese are our absolute favorites. We’ve selected hearty soup recipes that include bacon, lots of veggies, and even a few gluten-free options—there’s something for everyone on this list. Plus, using organic ingredients means you’re giving your family only the best!

Creamy Spiced Pumpkin Soup

Cool fall days call for meals featuring classic fall vegetables, and pumpkin is a perennial favorite! Creamy Tomato Alphabet Soup

Have fun with your ABCs! This cozy Creamy Tomato Alphabet Soup is loaded with fresh vegetables and dinnertime fun. Any small pasta will work with this soup, like mini elbows, ditalini, and orzo, but we especially love using fun pasta shapes like alphabet (of course!), mini farfalle, orecchiette (little ears), radiatori, wagon wheels, plus all kinds of novelty shapes like puppies, princesses, and penguins. This hearty, nutritious Sausage, Potato, and Kale Soup is shamelessly indulgent on a crisp day. Organic Prairie Italian Sausages add just the right amount of spice, which is balanced by tender potatoes, nutrient-packed kale, and a cheesy-creamy broth made with a combination of Organic Valley Milk, Heavy Cream, and Shredded Cheddar. If you want a completely hands-free first step, you can start the potatoes in the slow cooker on low for about one hour, then finish the soup on the stovetop.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

It’s slow cooker season! Oh-so creamy and full of flavor, this Chicken Wild Rice Soup is hearty, comforting, and perfect for those cold, blustery days. Many slow cooker recipes come with a handful of clumsy pre-cooking prep steps, but that’s not this soup. Simply pop everything in, set for six hours, and relax. Some chicken wild rice soups use flour or cornstarch as a thickener, but we stick to the clean flavor of the broth and Grassmilk Half-and-Half, which also means this recipe is gluten-free.
